Dr. Fox is an active member of the medical community where she is well known in the field of geriatric medicine. She has a particular interest in community based outreach for older adults. As an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, she is a popular and active teacher. Dr. Fox sees patients of all ages with a special interest in older adults. She is also fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Gilboa is excited to provide full spectrum preventive healthcare for all ages, from newborns to the elderly, including prenatal care and gynecological services. She also has a strong focus on preventing and treating obesity in children and teens, as well as families. Dr. Gilboa is fluent in American Sign Language and has lectured nationally on improving healthcare for deaf and hearing impaired patients. She is also fluent in Hebrew.


Jonathan Weinkle, MD

Dr. Weinkle is a pediatrician and internist and provides primary care and chronic disease management for patients of all ages. He has a strong interest in environmental health and continues to work to improve both physician and patient awareness of how factors in the environment affect their health. Dr. Weinkle is also concerned with helping patients with chronic pediatric illnesses make a smooth, healthy transition into adult care and adult life. He works part-time with the Jewish Healthcare Foundation on policy and quality issues related to these concerns. He is a lifelong Pittsburgher and longtime resident of Squirrel Hill and is thrilled to be working in his home neighborhood. He is also fluent in Hebrew.

Susan Friedberg Kalson

A lawyer with a background in health law and health consulting, Ms. Kalson came to SHHC as an active member of Pittsburgh's Jewish Community. She has served in numerous leadership roles at Rodef Shalom Congregation and as its President from 2004-2006. A third generation Pittsburgher with a long family history of community involvement, Ms. Kalson oversees all SHHC operations, including outreach and development, and is available to speak about the Center with community groups upon request.
