He has a strong interest in environmental health and continues to work to improve both physician and patient awareness of how factors in the environment affect their health. Dr. Weinkle is also concerned with helping patients with chronic pediatric illnesses make a smooth, healthy transition into adult care and adult life. He works part-time with the Jewish Healthcare Foundation on policy and quality issues related to these concerns. University of Pittsburgh A lawyer with a background in health law and health consulting, Ms. Kalson came to SHHC as an active member of Pittsburgh's Jewish Community. She has served in numerous leadership roles at Rodef Shalom Congregation and as its President from 2004-2006. A third generation Pittsburgher with a long family history of community involvement, Ms. Kalson oversees all SHHC operations, including outreach and development, and is available to speak about the Center with community groups upon request.
